About Us

Jesus Christ established His church in Jerusalem A.D. 33, and Lawrence Heights Christian Church was founded in 1957 as an extension of Christ’s church. We believe a great commitment to a great commandment (Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, love your neighbor as yourself. Matt. 22:37-40) and the great commission (Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all I command them. Matt. 28:19,20) will grow a great church.

We exist to celebrate God’s presence through Worship, to communicate God’s word through Evangelism, to educate God’s people through Discipleship, to demonstrate God’s love though Ministry, and to embrace God’s family through Fellowship. Therefore, we have a contemporary, relevant, God-glorifying worship experience, combined with solid Biblical preaching and teaching.
